Billiie Platform Rules

Last Updated: August 26, 2026

Billiie Inc. ("Billiie," "we," "our," or "us") provides digital tools that help businesses manage and operate their digital services from one platform.

These rules apply to the use of Billiie's website, applications, connected devices, and services, including:

  • Digital signage
  • Digital advertising screens
  • Digital menus
  • Digital QR catalogs
  • QR-powered pages and experiences
  • Business profiles
  • Advertising tools
  • Screen and device management
  • Content management
  • Other current and future Billiie services

Billiie provides the technology and tools used to operate these services. Businesses remain responsible for their own businesses, screens, equipment, content, products, pricing, and decisions unless Billiie expressly agrees otherwise.

Our goal is simple: give businesses useful digital tools while keeping the Billiie platform safe, reliable, lawful, and easy to use.

1. General Platform Rules

When using Billiie, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate account and business information
  • Use Billiie for legitimate business purposes
  • Follow applicable federal, state, and local laws
  • Only upload content you own or have permission to use
  • Keep your account credentials secure
  • Provide accurate information to customers
  • Respect the rights of other users and businesses
  • Follow Billiie's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and applicable product-specific policies

You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for content you choose to publish through Billiie.

2. Digital Signage

Billiie's digital signage tools allow businesses to display and manage their own content on compatible screens.

Businesses control the content displayed through their digital signage accounts.

Digital signage may be used for legitimate purposes such as:

  • Business information
  • Promotions
  • Specials
  • Announcements
  • Menus
  • Product information
  • Images and videos
  • Customer information
  • Other appropriate business content

You are responsible for ensuring that the content you display is lawful and that you have the necessary rights to use it.

Billiie does not own your television or screen simply because it is connected to Billiie.

3. Digital Advertising Screens

Billiie provides tools that allow businesses to create and manage advertising opportunities on their own screens.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

  • The participating business owns or controls its screen
  • The business decides whether it wants to accept advertising
  • The business establishes its advertising pricing
  • The business controls its advertising availability
  • The business may approve or decline advertisements
  • The business may establish lawful restrictions for its location
  • The business may request removal of advertising from its screen
  • Billiie does not routinely approve or decline advertisements on behalf of the business

Billiie provides the technology used to facilitate these advertising opportunities and may facilitate applicable transactions.

Additional rules are provided in the Billiie Digital Advertising Guidelines.

4. Digital Menus

Businesses using Billiie to create or display digital menus are responsible for their menu information.

This includes:

  • Product names
  • Descriptions
  • Prices
  • Images
  • Availability
  • Ingredients or product information
  • Promotions
  • Business contact information

Businesses should keep menu information reasonably accurate and current.

Billiie does not independently verify every menu item, price, product description, or availability status submitted by a business.

5. Digital QR Catalogs & QR Pages

Billiie's QR tools allow businesses to provide customers with digital access to catalogs, menus, inventory information, product pages, and other business content.

Businesses are responsible for the information displayed through their QR pages.

QR services may not be used to direct users to:

  • Fraudulent websites
  • Phishing pages
  • Malware
  • Illegal content
  • Deceptive offers
  • Harmful downloads
  • Content prohibited by Billiie's policies

Businesses should keep product availability, prices, descriptions, and other customer-facing information reasonably accurate.

6. Business Profiles

Businesses may create profiles that contain information intended to be publicly accessible.

Depending on the features used, this information may include:

  • Business name
  • Business description
  • General location
  • Contact information
  • Business hours
  • Images
  • Products or services
  • Advertising opportunities
  • Screen information
  • Other information voluntarily published by the business

Businesses are responsible for keeping their public information accurate.

Billiie does not guarantee the accuracy of information independently submitted by businesses.

7. Connected TVs, Devices & Billiie Apps

Billiie may be accessed through compatible televisions, streaming devices, applications, web browsers, and other supported devices.

Users are responsible for:

  • Their television or display
  • Streaming devices
  • Internet service
  • Wi-Fi connectivity
  • Mounts and installation
  • Device settings
  • Power and electricity
  • Maintaining compatible equipment
  • Keeping devices operational when required for their intended use

Unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement, Billiie does not own, lease, possess, or control equipment connected to the Billiie platform.

Installing the Billiie app or connecting a device to Billiie does not transfer ownership of that equipment to Billiie.

8. Content Responsibility

You are responsible for content uploaded, created, published, or displayed through your Billiie account.

This includes:

  • Images
  • Videos
  • Logos
  • Advertisements
  • Menus
  • Product photographs
  • Product descriptions
  • QR content
  • Business information
  • Promotional offers
  • Text
  • Graphics
  • Links
  • Other uploaded materials

You must own the content or have sufficient permission to use it.

Billiie providing the technology used to display content does not mean Billiie created, verified, endorsed, or approved that content.

9. Content Standards

Content distributed through Billiie should be appropriate for its intended business environment and comply with applicable law.

Users should avoid content that is:

  • Intentionally deceptive
  • Fraudulent
  • Unlawfully discriminatory
  • Threatening or harassing
  • Sexually explicit
  • Extremely graphic
  • Malicious
  • Designed to facilitate scams
  • Infringing upon another person's intellectual property rights

Certain Billiie services may have additional content requirements.

  • Manipulation of transactions or platform records

Additional prohibited activities are described in Billiie's Acceptable Use Policy.

11. Fair Access & Non-Discrimination

Billiie does not support unlawful discrimination.

Businesses using Billiie's services should not unlawfully discriminate against users, advertisers, or other businesses based on protected characteristics under applicable law.

This may include characteristics such as:

  • Race
  • Skin color
  • Religion or faith
  • National origin
  • Sex
  • Disability
  • Other characteristics protected by applicable law

If you believe a business using Billiie discriminated against you because of your race, skin color, religion, faith, national origin, or another legally protected characteristic, please contact: contact@billiie.co

Include the business or location involved and a brief explanation of what occurred.

Billiie may review reported conduct and take appropriate action regarding use of the Billiie platform when warranted.

A business declining a particular advertisement, product, service, transaction, or request does not by itself establish discrimination when the decision is based on legitimate, lawful, and non-discriminatory reasons.

12. Business Control & Independence

Businesses using Billiie remain independent businesses.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, Billiie does not:

  • Own participating businesses
  • Operate participating businesses
  • Own their TVs or displays
  • Determine their business hours
  • Set their retail prices
  • Set their advertising prices
  • Control their employees
  • Control their inventory
  • Determine which products they sell
  • Routinely approve their advertisements
  • Make everyday business decisions on their behalf

Billiie provides software, applications, transaction tools, and related technology.

Nothing about using Billiie creates an employment, franchise, agency, partnership, or joint-venture relationship between Billiie and an independently operated business merely because that business uses the platform.

13. Advertising Decisions

Businesses offering advertising through Billiie control their advertising opportunities.

They may establish legitimate restrictions based on considerations such as:

  • Direct competitors
  • Business category
  • Content suitability
  • Available advertising space
  • Scheduling
  • Location
  • Customer environment

These decisions must comply with applicable law and Billiie's platform policies.

Billiie may assist with advertising management or review when specifically requested.

14. Payments, Pricing & Transactions

Prices for products and services offered directly by Billiie will be disclosed through Billiie.

Prices established by independent businesses, including advertising rates they choose for their own screens, are generally determined by those businesses.

Billiie may facilitate payments and may charge disclosed:

  • Subscription fees
  • Platform fees
  • Transaction fees
  • Processing fees
  • Service fees
  • Other applicable charges

Applicable pricing and fees will be presented through the relevant service, checkout process, or agreement.

15. Account & Device Security

Users are responsible for protecting their Billiie accounts and connected devices.

You may not:

  • Access another person's account without authorization
  • Share credentials for unauthorized purposes
  • Attempt to bypass Billiie security features
  • Circumvent device or screen restrictions
  • Manipulate access codes
  • Manipulate transactions
  • Falsify screen activity
  • Introduce malware
  • Attempt to disrupt Billiie's systems
  • Probe Billiie's systems for vulnerabilities without authorization

Report suspected unauthorized access to Billiie promptly.

16. Device Alerts & SMS

Certain Billiie services may provide optional device or account notifications.

For example, a business may choose to receive alerts when a connected screen appears to be offline or requires attention.

Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.

Users may withdraw applicable SMS consent or update their alert information through available account settings or by contacting: contact@billiie.co

Device alerts depend on internet connectivity, device reporting, third-party services, and carrier delivery.

Billiie does not guarantee that every device issue will be detected or that every notification will be delivered immediately.

17. Availability & Technical Performance

Billiie works to provide reliable digital services, but technology is not perfect.

Service may occasionally be interrupted because of:

  • Internet outages
  • Wi-Fi problems
  • Power outages
  • TV or streaming-device issues
  • Third-party platform outages
  • App updates
  • Maintenance
  • Software errors
  • Hardware problems
  • Events outside Billiie's reasonable control

Billiie does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of every screen, device, QR page, application, or service.

18. No Guarantee of Business Results

Billiie provides digital business tools.

We do not guarantee that using Billiie will result in:

  • Increased sales
  • More customers
  • Advertising revenue
  • Leads
  • Phone calls
  • Website traffic
  • Store visits
  • A particular number of advertisement views
  • Any particular financial result

Results vary depending on the business, location, content, audience, pricing, advertising demand, and many other factors.

19. Enforcement

Billiie does not routinely review every piece of content created or uploaded by users.

However, if Billiie becomes aware of activity that may violate applicable law, these Platform Rules, our Acceptable Use Policy, or other Billiie policies, we may investigate and take appropriate action.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include:

  • Requesting changes
  • Removing or restricting content
  • Disabling a feature
  • Restricting platform access
  • Suspending an account
  • Terminating an account
  • Cooperating with lawful authorities when legally required

Billiie's ability to enforce its policies does not mean Billiie assumes responsibility for reviewing or approving all user-generated content.

20. Third-Party Services

Billiie may rely on third-party services for functions such as:

  • Payment processing
  • Cloud hosting
  • App distribution
  • Device operating systems
  • Analytics
  • Email
  • SMS
  • Content hosting
  • Other technical infrastructure

Third-party services may be governed by their own terms and policies.

Billiie is not responsible for outages, changes, restrictions, or actions caused solely by third-party services outside Billiie's reasonable control.

21. Updates to These Rules

Billiie may update these Platform Rules as our services, applications, products, and technology evolve.

The latest version will be made available through Billiie's website.
