How to choose the right monitor

Choosing the Right Monitor for Billiie

So you're thinking about joining the Billiie partner program and earning extra income for your business — great choice.

One of the first things partners ask is:

"What type of TV should I buy?"

The good news is you don't need anything expensive or complicated. Billiie runs directly from a web browser, which means most modern smart TVs will work perfectly.

Below are the three simple things to look for when choosing your screen.

1. Choose a 42"–55" Smart TV

The ideal screen size for Billiie displays is between 42 and 55 inches.

This size works best because it's large enough for customers to easily see the ads while still being affordable and easy to mount.

A regular smart TV from brands like Samsung, LG, TCL, Sony, or Hisense will work perfectly. You do not need expensive digital signage displays — these TVs start at $150, which means you can recoup your investment with just a few ads!

2. Make Sure the TV Has a Web Browser

Your TV must be able to open a web browser, preferably Google Chrome.

Billiie runs directly from a webpage, so the TV simply needs internet access and the ability to open a browser.

If your TV does not include a browser, you can easily add one using a Chromecast, Fire Stick, or Android TV device.

3. The TV Must Allow You to Enter a Website

Once the browser is open, you'll simply enter the Billiie display page in the address bar:

https://Billiie.co/slides

This page turns your TV into a Billiie display screen.

After loading the page, you'll be asked to enter your 4-character screen code from your Billiie dashboard — you will get this once you have created an account and profile.

Once entered, your screen will be ready for ads and running your own business promotions or specials.

Quick TV Checklist

Before purchasing a TV, make sure it has:

  • 42"–55" screen size
  • WiFi connection
  • A web browser like Chrome

If your TV has these three things, it will work perfectly with the Billiie system.

Important: Turn Off Sleep Mode on Your TV

To keep your Billiie screen running properly, make sure your TV does not automatically turn off.

Most TVs include power-saving features that shut the screen off after inactivity. This will stop your Billiie display from running.

To disable this, go to your TV settings and look for power or sleep options.

Typical path:

Settings → System / General → Power or Energy Saving

Then set the following options to Off or Never:

  • Sleep Timer
  • Auto Standby
  • Idle TV Power Off
  • Eco Mode

Disabling these settings ensures your screen stays active and continues displaying ads throughout the day.

Please note: if our system detects your TV is powered off during business hours, your account may be subject to review or closure.
